Public SERVANT

This blog comes from Ephesians 6, and will be an application of the commandments that the Apostle Paul issues regarding the MASTER-SLAVE relationship. I’m going to apply Paul’s mandates for Slaves to PUBLIC OFFICIALS because here in America, all public officials and their downlines are servants of “we the people” (including the County Sheriff, State Troopers and Municipal Police). Or at least that’s how it’s supposed to be theoretically! I’m writing this today because of the current political climate where nearly all public officials and their downlines have subsumed to themselves the role of master. There’s a verse in the OT that expresses this thought very nicely:

21 Under three things the earth quakes,
And under four, it cannot bear up:
22 Under a slave when he becomes king,
And a fool when he is satisfied with food,
23 Under an unloved woman when she gets a husband,
And a maidservant when she supplants her mistress.
(Proverbs 30)

Doesn’t sound like God approves. Doesn’t sound like it’s good for any society. But does it not sum up the situation we see here today in America…and the world?

Let me ask you this: Why has this occurred? If you think about it (I covered this in a previous blog), it’s simply because people have abandoned their Christian morals for something else. In other words, Christians don’t know the Bible and they certainly don’t obey God’s law found in the Bible. From what I’ve seen, this is mostly due to them “fulfilling the lust of their flesh”, exactly what the Apostle Paul condemns. But in this blog I’m referring more specifically to the people in public office (whether professed Christian or not), and especially their downlines, aka: bureaucrats and law enforcement officers. Identifying the cause is very easy, and it’s really simple once you quit listening to the mainstream propaganda (mass mind control) and learn God’s law.

Now, before I start on this, let’s take a quick look at the foundation of all nations:

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1)

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”…but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said,

“This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”

24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2)

Can you identify the foundation I’m talking about? It’s the marriage between one man and one woman. The natural result of a marriage is family. I think we can all agree that family is the basic unit of society, at least according to God’s design. Is there anyone who can change that design? No, it has always been that way and always will be. It’s programmed into all our chemistry and psyche. It is also programmed into society. So there’s no changing it, at least not for the good. So, starting with the family we can discuss the ideas involved with public officials, especially here in America where “we the people” are the masters and the public officials are the slaves. You find that over-arching idea in the American Constitutions and our charter statement, the Declaration of Independence (from Imperialist Britain).

Now let’s take a look at the NT text for this blog:

5 Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; 6 not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. 7 With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free. 9 And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. (Ephesians 6)

First we see that the command issued to slaves is obey. Obey who? Their own master (‘your masters’). Note the attitude requirement: ‘with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart…not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers…doing the will of God from the heart’.

Before I get into the various words and phrases, let’s pause and consider the phrase,
“doing the will of God”. First let’s note that this phrase is a hermeneutical gold nugget! Why? Because right here Paul is identifying what God’s will is for slaves. He’s telling them plainly, so there is no ambivalence as to what that will is. Result: They don’t have to guess. Excellent! No more namby-pamby emotionalism by trying to feel what God’s will is, right? No more wandering around wondering about it. Or at least no wondering about Paul’s definition here, right?

Back when I was in Babble Shoal (Bible College) I was taught that the will of God is something nebulous, dynamic and specific to each person. They all viewed the subject as a mystery. It caused a lot of confusion in the minds of young Christians. The inconclusiveness and insecurity of not knowing God’s will caused a lot of people to abandon Christianity for hedonism (or as I used to call it, ‘existential-materialism’). But since most people have an inner drive for the mystical or spiritual, they usually turn to other things to fill that void. Many times that will be substance abuse or other vices or various types of ‘mysticism’ and superstition.

Lucky for us, right here in this text the Apostle Paul defines ‘the will of God’ in measurable terms. In other words, Paul’s command to slaves and masters is God’s will for them in particular. Reread that until it sinks in. In other words, you can know God’s will for your life if you read the Bible with the correct perspective. The way I normally say it is this, GOD’S WILL IS GOD’S LAW FOUND IN THE PAGES OF THE OT & NT. I just want to make sure you know how to find God’s will for your life. And you should also know that God’s will is the same for everyone. Today in America, we call it ‘equal application of the law to everyone’. In the OT you find this concept in the first two Commandments of the ‘Decalogue’ (God’s Law proper). Jesus knew it as “the Greatest Commandment in the law”. God wants us all to be holy, so He gives us His law as the means to get there. You can confirm that assertion here:

For this is the will of God, your sanctification… (1 Thessalonians 4:3)

Notice the words “the will of God”. Those words are another way of saying this is one of God’s commandments. Also note that the word sanctification is another word for holy. So now you know! And just in case you’re still not getting it, let me do a quick conversion of terms for you. The Apostle John is really big on the idea of love. Everybody in the Christian world believes in Christian love. I have never met a Christian who doesn’t think they know what the definition of Christian love is. Sorry to say, the consensus is WRONG. But just so you know, John clearly defines it for us. Check it out:

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5.3)

So there it is again. God’s will defined in terms of Christian love. That is, you are acting with love when you are obeying God’s commandments. So now you can be sure and there’s no more guessing what God’s will is for you. This is a big subject, and requires more blog entries. But I just wanted to clue you in on this in case you were wondering and had an open mind about it. Back to Slaves/Masters.

Note how slaves are supposed to behave: obey. Obey what or who? Their own masters. Applying that to us today in America, “we the people” are the Masters. The only other master above “we the people” is the Christian God. Here’s where I get those two facts:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (The Declaration of Independence)

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. (Constitution of the United States of America)

Who does it say authored the Constitution? “We the People”. You can also see who gave “we the people” their Rights? “Their Creator” (God). Incidentally, the people involved in those proceedings were from Christian societies (not Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, etc.). So they had the Christian God in mind when they penned that. And the man who wrote it (Thomas Jefferson) had a special fondness for Jesus as a Statesman. The important thing to note is that the Constitutions of the federal government and all the state governments are the contract between “we the people” and the public officials. It is the written document requiring the public officials to obey all the dictates in that document. In other words, the Constitutions in this nation are the will of the people which their Representatives (and their downlines) are required to obey. These documents outline the structure of government and list the grants of power that the public officials receive to do their jobs. And let’s not forget to identify their only job: PROTECT OUR RIGHTS. That is the sole purpose of their existence. Mark that!

We won’t get into it just yet, but the problem with all human governments is the corruption that occurs in the people who utilize the powers of government, as well as the perversions that those people engineer into the political process. This is all accomplished by people of words controlling the interpretation of those founding documents by changing the meaning of the words in those contracts. That kind of public official is a conman, a dissembler. This is typical of businessmen, lawyers, bureaucrats, public officials, judges and the myriad of ‘professionals’ throughout society who profit off the needs and hardships of the masses. The more corrupt they are, the slicker they talk, and the more convincing they become, especially to the naive and gullible. They are so skilled at combining legal yap-yap with their judicial cover-ups that nobody ever questions them. The best primer on this is Frederick Bastiat’s, “The Law.” Here’s a relevant quote:

No society can exist unless the laws are respected to a certain degree. The safest way to make laws respected is to make them respectable. When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law. These two evils are of equal consequence, and it would be difficult for a person to choose between them.

Based on the fundamental law in America, as seen in the Preamble to the federal and state Constitutions, as well as the charter statement of this nation (the Declaration of Independence), you can see who is the Master in our nation. To reiterate, the Master in America is “we the people.” It is NOT the government. It is NOT the public officials. It is NOT the Judges and lawyers. It is NOT the regulated professionals. It is NOT the bureaucrats and their NGO’s. It is certainly NOT the corporations, nor the wealthy who control them and the government. It is “we the people” collectively.

That proposition is difficult to fathom for most Americans. It’s due to the fact that they generally don’t look at life in terms of social unity, but instead focus on individual preference. I talked a bit about this in a previous blog. It has to do with our collective world-view and our nation’s common values. That’s the reason why God’s law is critical to the life of this nation. God’s law gives America the basis for personal and national values, since it provides the law-standard for all society. God’s law is the unifying factor for our society. What else can give unity to a nation? Certainly not war (a ‘common enemy’)! Didn’t God promise success for the nation who obeys His law? Success through obedience is found throughout the entire OT!

One of the most fundamental principles for the relationship between “we the people” and our ‘public servants’ is delegation of powers. That is clearly stated in the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…

The RULE OF THUMB for that is:

IF I CAN’T DO IT, THEN NEITHER CAN THEY!

In other words, as a ‘Christian nation’, if the Bible (God’s Word) prohibits an act, then “we the people” are prohibited from doing that act. And if “we the people” can’t do it, THEN NEITHER CAN THE GOVERNMENT PEOPLE (and their downlines and contractors)! Remember that all ‘downlines’ receive a limited delegation of authority, so they’re bound just like the public officials are, but usually even more so. Like Thomas Jefferson said:

…in questions of power then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the constitution …

So what does the NT Master/Slave relationship have to do with Public Servants here in America? Let me preface my answer with some background comments. According to Noah Webster (the father of American English), the definition of Slave is:

A person who is wholly subject to the will of another; one who has no will of his own, but whose person and services are wholly under the control of another. In the early state of the world, and to this day among some barbarous nations, prisoners of war are considered and treated as slaves. The slaves of modern times are more generally purchased, like horses and oxen. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

His definition of Servant is:

A person, male or female, that attends another for the purpose of performing menial offices for him, or who is employed by another for such offices or for other labor, and is subject to his command. The word is correlative to master. Servant differs from slave, as the servant’s subjection to a master is voluntary, the slave’s is not. Every slave is a servant but every servant is not a slave.

Servants are of various kinds; as household or domestic servants, menial servants; laborers, who are hired by the day, week or other term, and do not reside with their employers, or if they board in the same house, are employed abroad and not in the domestic services; apprentices, who are bound for a term of years to serve a master, for the purpose of learning his trade or occupation.

In a legal sense, stewards, factors, bailifs and other agents, are servants for the time they are employed in such character, as they act in subordination to others.

For purposes of this blog, the chief distinguishing characteristic that separates Servants from Slaves is PERSONAL CHOICE. But effectively, they work under similar circumstances, the chief of which is to do the will of the one they’re serving. Yet this is still not enough information to make the leap from the NT to modern America. In order to do that, we must first arrive at principles found in the NT text that can be applied to American government. Those principles are adduced from the history underlying and meaning contained in the words of the NT text.

For example, Paul wrote as a dual citizen; from both his 2nd Temple home country and Rome. Add to that the NT has two separate words; one for slave and the other for servant. Doulos is translated into the English word slave, whereas diakonos is translated into the English word servant. Since the Mosaic law prohibited enslaving fellow countrymen, 2nd Temple Israeli law prohibited citizen-slaves. Instead, under the law of Leviticus 25, a destitute fellow countryman could become a hired hand, aka, hired servant. Yet, 2nd Temple citizens could have foreign slaves. But that’s not what Paul is talking about in the above text. Instead, he’s talking to Gentiles (primarily) who, as Roman citizens, have slaves. So the slave laws were different in Rome than they were in Israel.

Now the subject becomes interesting! The above NT Master/Slave text concerns a combination of Roman law and 2nd Temple law adapted to the New Covenant. Once we arrive at an understanding of that, we can then derive the principle(s) that may apply to modern America. Since Paul was addressing Christians, he was naturally coming from the perspective of God’s requirements. But since the Christians lived under Roman law, there was a conflict of law that needed resolution. That conflict of law occurred because the Roman citizen was a Christian, and he owned a Roman slave that also was Christian. That means the master/slave relationship under Roman law needed to be in compliance with the laws of God for His people, as per Leviticus 25.

But since Paul couldn’t abrogate Roman law and custom, since doing so would cause all kinds of social problems, Paul reached a compromise on applying God’s law to Roman citizens in a relationship prohibited under God’s law. That’s what the above NT Master/Slave text is all about.  It’s about teaching the Christians how to live under Roman law while also obeying God’s law to the best of their ability.

But, is that enough background to arrive at a principle we can apply to American public officials today? Maybe and maybe not. So let’s go one step further. The underlying assumption when using Ephesians 6 above to define the obligations of public servants in America is predicated upon the assumption that, effectively, servant is synonymous with slave. But that is not necessarily true. It may be true in a pragmatic sense (minus the personal volition aspect). But it isn’t true technically. So let’s take a look at the NT word translated into the English word servant.

The word diakonos is used by Paul, with respect to government, as a legal term, the meaning of which derives out of the OT. In the OT, there were 4 primary government offices: King, Prophet, Ambassador and Priest/Levite. The NT correlatives are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist and Pastor-Teacher. Yet, in the NT we also see 2 other offices: Overseer and Deacon. When analyzing the functions of each of those two offices, we see they are similar to Priest and Levite, respectively. So I believe when Paul talks about deacons (Greek: diakonos), he’s referring to the office of Levite.

Considering the Levites as public officials in the OT, we know they were the keepers of God’s Temple and instructors of the people in their duties towards God. So if we transfer the same duties to today’s public servants, it only makes sense that they must be held to a higher standard than the general masses because they are considered leaders in society, operating within the realm of the law.

If we want to apply the NT Master/Slave relationship to modern Public Servants, we can only do it in principle based on the idea of SUBSERVIANT WILL. But most of the other aspects of the relationship are not applicable. And when we apply the NT Servant office to modern Public Servants, we can only do it in the sense that they are to be held to a HIGHER STANDARD as those dispensing the law. But most of the other aspects of that office don’t apply today in America due to the differences in government systems. So we can combine the two principles we find in the NT text and words to arrive at a principle for Public Servants. Namely, that they are to be held to a higher standard, and that they are supposed to do the will of the American People. That is how I apply the relevant NT commands to modern times.

But before we look at Ephesians 6 in greater detail to see the pragmatics of the Master/Slave relationship, let’s first look at a few wise statements about government:

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)

When annual elections end, there slavery begins. (John Adams, Thoughts on Government, 1776)

Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. (George Washington, Farewell Address, September, 1796)

Men by their constitutions are naturally divided into two parties: 1. Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers from them into the hands of the higher classes. 2. Those who identify themselves with the people, have confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise depository of the public interests. In every country these two parties exist; and in every one where they are free to think, speak, and write, they will declare themselves. (Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Henry Lee, August 10, 1824)

It is in the man of piety and inward principle, that we may expect to find the uncorrupted patriot, the useful citizen, and the invincible soldier. God grant that in America true religion and civil liberty may be inseparable and that the unjust attempts to destroy the one, may in the issue tend to the support and establishment of both. (John Witherspoon, From his sermon on May 17, 1776)

I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. (Thomas Jefferson, Letter to W. C. Jarvis, September 28, 1820)

In the above quotes you can see the value of morality in government and the place of ‘we the people’ in it. The principle of Master/Slave is embedded in those principles. If you search the internet or pick up a good book on their writings, you will find an endless supply of such statements about the principles of American government from America’s founding fathers. One such book is The 5000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen.

So, based on the Bible texts and American founding principles, you should be able to see that the American public officials and their downlines are the Servants/Slaves of their Masters “we the people” of the United States of America. Let me say it this way: For American government public servants, SERVANT = SLAVE in the Biblical sense of the word.

Now that we’ve established that American government officials, including all their contractors, associates and operative, are the slaves of “we the people,” it remains only to apply the Apostle Paul’s commands to the government. So let’s get to it!

First thing of note is Paul’s Command for slaves to obey their master. We’ve established that all government in America has “we the people” as their Master. And the fundamentals of that will is memorialized in the Constitutions of this Republic. That means all government people (and their downlines) are required to obey the Constitutions of “we the people”. That is called a Trust. The converse of that is if they obey anyone else they are violating their Trust with “we the people”. In other words, they are rebelling against their duly appointed authority. That is TREASON, in case you didn’t know:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted. (U.S. Constitution, Article III, Section 3)

You can see that the American fundamental law memorializes the wrongfulness of Treason. But some might say, “That’s foolish! The Constitution doesn’t say that not doing the will of ‘we the people’ is Treason!” But when you look at whose will they’re obeying (instead of ‘we the people’), you will find they are waging war behind the scenes inside this nation without using overt physical violence like is done with troops and war machinery. You will also discover that they are obeying the commands of the enemies of this nation, primarily in banking, finance and corporate business. This is all known to those who know the history of this nation relative to international politics, banking and business. It’s too big a subject to get into here. But you can find some good reading on the internet and by doing your own study of the relevant primary sources. There are plenty of resources available for that. All you have to do is a little digging to get started. I’m sure you’ll be amazed at what you find!

Let’s take a look at the original definition of Treason:

TREASON is the highest crime of a civil nature of which a man can be guilty. Its signification is different in different countries. In general, it is the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power…In the United States, treason is confined to the actual levying of war against the United States, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

Without belaboring the point and getting into all the gory details, suffice to say that:

GOVERNMENT PEOPLE COMMIT TREASON WHEN THEY DO NOT DO WHAT “WE THE PEOPLE” REQUIRE THEM TO DO, OR WHEN THEY DISOBEY GOD’S LAW.

However, it also necessitates that when the will of “we the people” is morally corrupt, then the government people are required to not obey the will of “we the people.” Hence, they must never disobey God’s law. This is a simple matter of establishing and maintaining fundamental social structure and basic Christian morality in the nation. The ‘influence’ works both ways, which is why it’s so important for everybody to keep a sharp lookout on both the individuals and the social institutions.

Back to Ephesians 6. Next, let’s note in Ephesians 6 HOW God requires slaves to obey:

5 with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; 6 not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. 7 With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men.

That’s quite the statement, don’t you think? Let’s take it one piece at a time:

  1. “With fear and trembling”
  2. “In the sincerity of your heart”
  3. “As to Christ”
  4. “Not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers”
  5. “As slaves of Christ”
  6. “Doing the will of God from the heart”
  7. “With good will render service”
  8. “As to the Lord, and not to men”

Note how Paul says the same thing multiple times:

  1. …with fear and trembling…as to Christ…as slaves of Christ…As to the Lord
  2. …in the sincerity of your heart…doing the will of God from the heart…with good will render service
  3. …not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers…not to men

How can anybody miss his point? He’s telling you to work as a SLAVE, paying close attention to:

  1. The QUALITY of your service,
  2. Your INTENT while serving, and
  3. Your HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS related to your service.

In verses 9 and following, Paul also commands Masters to act a certain way:

  1. “And masters, do the same things to them,”
  2. “And give up threatening.”

In the above two commands you can see:

  1. Non-abusive, humanitarian people management practices, and
  2. No politics for motivating!

Why? Because God will reward these persons for their good works. Paul emphasizes the critical fact that God judges every person impartially:

8 knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.

9 knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

This is all about Judgment Day. Jesus Christ will either reward you or punish you for your Character and Work Product as either a slave or master. The thing about that is when the Masters (the people) of this nation become corrupt, the Slaves (government) are still required to do right by them. And when the Slaves (government) of this nation become corrupt, then the Masters (the people) are still supposed to do right. So the requirement to obey God by having good character and quality work product is an on-going requirement under all circumstances. That’s what Paul means by impartiality.

That pretty much covers the bases of the Master/Slave // Populace/Government relationship, don’t you think?

Now let’s compare that with what passes for Public Leadership today. Mind you, I’m only going to give a few examples, because a library of books could be written on the subject of the corruption that is endemic in today’s politics. Incidentally, it used to be called statesmanship. But today, it has all degenerated into politics! Politics is the art of conning “the people” to get the power you need, so you can bully people in order to accomplish the things that you have no authority to do. All of it is a gross violation of God’s law (and American founding principles)! There are many contemporary examples of this evil.

Now let’s take a look at some of the social institutions with respect to the Master/Slave relationship:

  1. Taxation by Representation vs. Taxation without Representation
    Question: How many government taxes had you known about before they were made into law? How many would you have agreed with?
  1. Legislation by Representation vs. Legislation without Representation
    Question: How many government laws had you known about before they were made into law? How many would you have agreed with? Who alone in the government has the law-making powers in the USA? Take a look at the federal level, because the states are basically the same, (fed Const, 1.1.1). Answer: The legislature. Note: zero law-making powers are given to the Executive and Judiciary, and to anyone else for that matter!
  1. National Defense vs. Military
    Question: Throughout the history of America, what percentage of wars has the government waged that have been strictly defensive?
  1. Justice vs. Law Enforcement
    Question: What is justice? How is justice different from law enforcement or are they the same? What happens when the courts render justice? How about law enforcement?
  1. Peace Officer vs. Police
    Question: Did you know that by law the cops are not required to protect you? Did you know that the cops exist to protect the state and corporate profits? How do you like that? Is that fulfilling the Constitution? Is it moral?
  1. Travel vs. Driving
    Question: Did you know that during the majority of this republic’s history, common people could go about their daily business using the usual and customary means (cars and trucks today), and not be forced to pay for registrations and licenses, that is, unless they functioned in commerce? Why all the Licenses, Registrations and ‘Insurance Policies’ for everyone today? Do you know the difference between commerce ‘driving’ and Christian common law ‘liberty’?
  1. Education vs. Corporate Propaganda
    Question: Did you know that up until the late 1800’s nearly all children were schooled at home or at the local church, and that public schools were instituted by the corporations to train children in corporate skills (absent morality and knowledge about their government)? Who do you suppose benefits from that kind of curriculum? What purpose does it serve? What results has it brought to society today?
  1. Career & Job Skills vs. Marxist Slavery
    Question: Have you ‘scientifically’ identified what your natural aptitudes and abilities are in terms of your career? What about women? What do you suppose God considers their career should be? How secure is your future if you must rely on someone else to hire you? What’s the difference between a slave and a hired worker (employee)? Can you ‘live as you please’ when you’re beholden to an ’employer’? What is the value of your labor in terms of saving for your retirement? What if you had a ‘family business’? Would you be more secure financially?
  1. Family vs. Household
    Question: What’s the difference between a ‘household’ and a family? Think in terms of law and taxation.
  1. Child-Rearing vs. the Work-Force
    Question: What value do children have to society? What value do they have to their parents? Is either more important than the other?
  1. Children vs. Youths
    Question: What is the definition of youth vs. child? Think in terms of law and taxation. Is this how God views children? What about the state? What is their claim on children? How about youths?
  1. Honoring Parents vs. Retirement
    Question: How do you honor your parents when you’re a child? How about when they’re old? In your youth, what did you learn this means? How are you doing it now with your elderly parents?
  1. Health Maintenance vs. Healthcare through Drugs (sorcery)
    Question: How well would your bodily health condition be if doctors did not exist? Can you know how to achieve and maintain vibrant health without doctors and drugs? Have you ever tried? How many doctors have you hired to teach you how to take care of your health without using drugs and paying them a lot of money on a regular basis?
  1. Sustainable Farming vs. Industrial Agriculture
    Question: Can you identify the things that make sustainable farming different from industrial agriculture? What is the food quality difference between the two? Do you know? Do you care?
  1. God’s One-Flesh Marriage vs. State Licensed Marriage
    Question: Do you know what a marriage license is? How does a license change your marriage relationship? When did marriage licenses become mandatory? Why did marriage licenses come into existence in the USA?
  1. Coin and Currency vs. Fiat Money
    Question: What’s the difference between coin (or currency) and money? What is America’s original “money of account”? When did it change? Why? Who changed it? What effect did it have on the value of the dollar? Can you accurately define the term dollar? In other words, WHAT IS A DOLLAR? What does a dollar have to do with coin/currency and money? The answers to these questions form the basis of most of today’s woes in America.
  1. Wealth vs. Riches
    Question: What is true wealth? What are riches? Can you be Rich and Wealthy? Jesus used the word mammon. What is mammon in the Bible? What does God say about riches in the OT and NT? How do money and riches affect a Christian’s relationship with God? This subject lies at the heart of Christian living and Christian religion!
  1. Family Business vs. Corporation
    Question: What is the difference between a family business and a corporate business? What kind of accountability can arise under each system of business? Who authored the corporate business paradigm? Legally speaking, what’s a ‘fictional entity’? What ‘rights’ does a corporation have compared to a family business? This subject is vital to establishing God-honoring social institutions. Same with the subjects of money and riches.
  1. Ecology vs. Environmentalism
    Question: What is ecology? What is environmentalism? If you’ve successfully answered the previous comparative questions, you’ll clearly be able to see a pattern. The counterfeits are all built on mental fantasies, yet they are very powerful methods of accomplishing social engineering. Same applies to all the topics listed here.
  1. Rest & Relaxation vs. Entertainment
    Question: What did people do for entertainment before electronic media? Do you know how to sing or play an instrument? Can you dance? Do you have a hobby? What about athletic activities? Do you participate in them for fun while also being in competition? Can you list healthy vs. harmful R&R/entertainment? This subject has to do with our personal character, and with society’s state of morality.
  1. Honest Reporting vs. News Media
    Question: What is the purpose of the ‘news’? What are the ethics for reporters? What happens to society when reporters and the media lie or mislead? Is it wrong to report half-truths or to withhold relevant information as a reporter, even if you’re not outright lying? Should you lie to keep your job if your editor tells you to? What power does the news media have in a person’s life? Does news media have any impact on your local community? How about its effects on national unity? For example, can you make good decisions while participating in public matters (such as voting) when you know the news lies about it?
  1. The Commons vs. Public Property
    Question: What are the Commons? What is Public Property? What are the differences between the two? Who owns the Commons? Who owns the Public Property? Who has the right to use the Public Property? What about the Commons, who has the right to use them? What authority does government have over the Commons and over Public Property? How important is the Commons? How about Public Property? Who is responsible for the upkeep of the Commons and Public Property? Who pays for that upkeep?
  1. Recreation & Hobbies vs. Professional Athletes and Sporting Events
    Question: What is the purpose of Professional Athletics? What is the purpose of Hobbies? Do you have a Hobby? Do your children have any?
  1. Real Property Rights vs. Real Estate
    Question: Can you tell the difference between real property and real estate? If not, do you even care? What did America’s founding fathers say about taxing Real Property? How secure are you if you are forced to pay ad valorem taxes on your Real Property?
  1. Real Property vs. Personal Property
    Question: Do you know the difference between Real Property and Personal Property? What is so important about both? What rights do you possess from God regarding your Personal Property? What rights do you possess from the State regarding your Personal Property? How old are your Personal Property rights? What powers have you granted to the state with respect to your Personal Property?
  1. Liberty vs. Privilege
    Question: What’s the difference between a right and a privilege? Can the government tax a right? How about a privilege? Is a license based on a Right or a Privilege? Do you have a choice in obtaining a privilege? How about a right? Can you list 10 of your fundamental personal rights? Can you list 10 of your fundamental social rights? Can you defend your rights? If so, how do you go about doing that?
  1. “Right to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness” vs. Civil Rights
    Question: What is the difference between a civil right and a God-given right? Can government legislate your God-given rights? How do the courts weigh-in on such matters? Do men have different civil rights than women? Do men have different God-given rights than women? How about children? Do they have God-given or civil rights? Rights is one of the most important subjects for Americans because it’s the foundation of this Republic. And protecting those rights is the sole purpose of the existence of American government.

More categories can be added to the above list. Those are just the ones that immediately come to mind. You can be certain that the public servants who have converted America into a slave state have enlisted the paid assistance of experts in all the scholastic fields related to each of the above social institutions. And you can bet that they reverse-engineered each of them with a plan to convert every God-given right into a State-Created Privilege so that they can control YOU by legislation & lawyers, judges & cops. That, my friend, is how they play this evil game of trading places with you. So if you want to know the details of each of the above categories, you have to do your homework in both the true science of it and the Biblical ethics of it. Then and only then will you be able to achieve correct thinking about what is right and wrong for each social institution. There is no hope if any other path is taken because unless you have the right standard, you will never arrive at the right social process.

OK, that’s my ‘take’ on PUBLIC SERVANTS. Now compare each of the above commandments and categories with what goes on in reality today. Note that each category could be developed into a separate blog, replete with a plethora of contemporary news stories revealing how despicably today’s public officials and their downlines think and behave. All you have to do is take an honest look at the alternative news media (the ones who are reporting the truth) and see what kinds of atrocities are occurring daily all over the nation in the name of the law, and under the guise of truth.
